Nagaland is a rising star in India’s coffee landscape. Nestled in the Eastern Himalayas, the state’s shade-grown, organic farms and slow-drying traditions make its coffees distinctive:
Untapped Origin: Still relatively rare in specialty markets, Nagaland coffees are highly sought after by enthusiasts.
Community-Grown: Cultivated by smallholder farmers using traditional, sustainable methods.
Slow-Dried: Enhances sweetness and clarity in the cup.
Microclimate Magic: Highland elevations with mist and cool nights nurture slow, complex cherry ripening.
Flavor Depth: Nutty-chocolate bases layered with bright fruit and floral hints.
French Press → Brings out nutty chocolate depth and toffee sweetness. 20g / 300ml / 4 min.
Pour-over (V60) → Enhances floral coffee blossom and citrus brightness. 15g / 250ml / 92–94°C.
Espresso → Toffee and roasted nut flavors dominate with dark chocolate crema. 18g / 36g / 28s.
Moka Pot → Great home-friendly method for amplifying chocolate and nut richness.
In Nagaland’s hills, mornings arrive slowly. Mist curls through bamboo groves, the air carries the scent of damp earth, and farmers walk the slopes with baskets full of ripening cherries. From this quiet rhythm of land and people comes a coffee that feels as intimate as the hills themselves.
Naga 82 greets you first with a gentle sweetness — like toffee melting on the tongue. As it unfolds, the richness of roasted nuts and dark chocolate creates a comforting embrace. Then, almost unexpectedly, a floral lift of coffee blossom drifts through, light and fleeting, leaving behind a memory of elegance.
This is coffee that mirrors its home — warm, earthy, and grounded, yet touched by moments of unexpected beauty. A cup of Naga 82 is not just a drink but an invitation to pause, to feel, and to savor the quiet poetry of the Naga Hills.
